This GreenScreen fits slips over an existing non fish compliant pump intake screen, often a foot valve or barrel strainer. When inserted, the pump screen is properly centered and uniform flow is achieved through all sides of the screen.
This model collapses to be small and compact when not in use and can be quickly deployed when needed. When collapsed, its just a 2 inches tall. This is ideal for trucks and pump kits where space is tight.
Standard Sizes: 100GPM, 200GPM, 350GPM, 500GPM
This screen was added to all MarkIII pump kits for the USDA due to all of the product benefits.
A WILDLAND FIRE FAVORITE!
There are often so many issues with the standard water drafting equipment. Adding the GreenScreen to the intake system eliminates all if them.
This non-collapsible screen slips over an existing intake screen also. When the intake is inserted, the pump screen is properly centered and uniform flow is achieved through all sides of the screen.
This model has a rigid frame and does not collapse. This model has the same benefits as the collapsible version. Only takes up significant room when stowed and works well for temporary water pumping.
Standard Sizes: 100GPM, 200GPM, 350GPM, 500GPM, 1000GPM, 2000GPM
Designs based on 0.33ft/s approach velocity with 1/16" square mesh hole size (less than 3/32" on the diagonal) and 33% open area to meet state and federal fish screening requirements. These mesh fabric screens are designed for temporary use. Contact Zinvent for questions.
These screens get the intake foot valve or barrel strainer off the bottom and away from sands and silts. The tough mesh fabric also shields large debris from getting close to the intake.
Tie it off to the suction hose with the furnished cam strap or hose clamp.
In shallow water, the air vortex can not get established through the mesh.
The Collapsible frame GreenScreen compacts tightly to store away when not needed.
